MEHAK

One drop. The whole day.

Pure oil. No alcohol.

Nothing burns off in the first hour. It opens slowly, and it stays.

Wear it close.

Six attars, distilled in small batches from flowers, earth and wood.

Why oil

Perfume is mostly alcohol. It hits hard and it is gone by lunch. Attar is pure oil, so it sits on the skin and opens slowly, and at night it is still there.

On the skin

One drop, eight hours.

Attar is not one smell. It changes as your skin warms it. Move the dial to see how.

The first minute

Bright and close

The top notes lift first: pepper, citrus, green leaf. Stronger now than it will ever be again, and only for a few minutes.

How it is made

Slow, on purpose.

The old way. Copper, a low fire and a lot of waiting. Three weeks from flower to bottle.

  1. 01

    Picked before sunrise

Flowers hold the most oil in the early morning. They are picked before the heat and reach the copper the same day.

  2. 02

    Distilled over a low fire

Steam carries the scent into a base of sandalwood oil. No alcohol and nothing added to push it louder.

  3. 03

    Rested for two weeks

The oil settles and rounds out. Then every bottle is filled, sealed and checked by hand.

Not sure where to start

Two questions.

When will you wear it?
Which one pulls you in?
Start with

Gulab

Soft rose with green edges. Light enough for the office, and it still lasts until you get home.

Said to us

Not by us.

I put Oudh Purana on at nine in the morning. My brother asked what I was wearing at dinner.

Hamza, Lahore

Every perfume gives me a headache. This is the first thing I can wear all day.

Sana, Karachi

I ordered the sample set to be safe. Now I have three full bottles.

Ali, Islamabad

Try before you choose

All six, one box.

Six 1 ml vials, enough to wear each one for a few days. The Rs 2,400 comes off your first full bottle.
